This is a general English course for adults and young adults who need to improve their basic English skills, both for their academic studies and professional activities and also to communicate effectively in everyday interactions and social situations

– Reported speech; weather (vocabulary); passive voice

– Containers (vocabulary); quantifiers; (un)countable nouns; word formation

– Relative clauses; health (vocabulary); news collocations; present perfect (passive)

– Listening and grammar check; connecting words; at the doctor’s (vocabulary)

– Contacting/describing people (vocabulary); be going to / supposed to; modal verbs

– Phrasal verbs (vocabulary); asking, giving and refusing permission

– Things people do at work (vocabulary); reported speech; adjectives to describe jobs (vocabulary)

– Verb patterns; informal words and phrases (vocabulary)

– Oral evaluation; second conditional; if clauses (type 3); word formation

– Listening and written test

CONDIÇÕES DE FREQUÊNCIA: Os alunos devem frequentar no mínimo 75% das aulas e obter nota mínima de 10 valores, para obter no final do curso um certificado de competências.

CONDIÇÕES DE AVALIAÇÃO: Prova final (escrita e oral), este teste final será feito de acordo com as normas do Quadro Europeu Comum de Referência.
